Refresh your French, go Altec CU Boulder!

Bonjour, Bonjour,

The summer is perfect to freshen up your French at CU!
Sign up for a course with the French dept… frit.colorado.edu
or
Contact edwige.simon@colorado.edu to sign up for a Refresher…

The refresher courses are ALTEC’s signature offerings. The refreshers are non-credit online language courses (French and Spanish) that run for three weeks every summer.

These teacher-led courses review the curriculum of the first two years while preparing students to take third year courses. Every week deals with a new cultural topic and provides students with opportunities to engage in a variety of speaking, writing, reading and listening activities.

While fully online, these courses are teacher-led and are NOT self-paced. There are assignments due every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Students will need daily access to a computer with a high-speed internet connection, a pair of headphones with a microphone and a webcam.

ALTEC (Anderson Language & Technology Center at the University of Colorado at Boulder) is planning on offering two sessions this summer:

June 4th -June 22nd
July 9th -July 27th

Classes are capped at 12 students and tuition is $95 for CU students and $125 for non-CU students. E-mail edwige.simon at colorado.edu if you wish to reserve your spot.

Each course will be made private while it’s being taught. It will be open to the public the rest of the time to allow everybody to take advantage of the educational resources provided.
